APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Candidates must have attended and graduated 5th grade from Hughston Elementary School in Plano.
  2. Candidates must be enrolling in an accredited undergraduate degree program at a college or university for the 2024-2025. Awarded funds will be sent directly to the University.
  3. Candidates must complete and submit the attached application.
  4. Prepare a personal resume including, but not limited to, activities and experiences inside and outside of school (for example: work, clubs, sports, community service leadership activities, etc.)
  5. Include two letters of recommendation from an educator, employer or someone who knows you and can speak to your character and experiences.
  6. Write an essay describing how attending Hughston Elementary School had an impact on your life and/or education (500 words or less).
  7. All documents (Resume, Letters of Recommendation & Essay) are due no later than April 15th, 2024
